Creativity, trends and avant-garde techniques will be the key words of On Hair Show & Exhibition, the event dedicated to the hair world and organized with the patronage of the City of Turin and with the collaboration of the Turin Tourist Board on 17 and 18 November, at the Pala Alpitour in Turin.
More than 12,000 visitors are expected - hairdressers, hair salon professionals and distributors – and they will have the opportunity to discover which elements will influence the hair industry in the next future. International teams and stylists will perform on the prestigious On Hair stage, sharing with the public their most innovative techniques and launching the next season's hair fashion trends.
These teams will attend: 4D Color, Genny D’Auria and Cuco y Guille for Alfaparf Milano, Lorenzo Marchelle for Attilio Artistic Team, Gandini Team for Vitality’s, Medavita Artistic Team, Leonardo Rizzo and Akademia team & Rudi for Alter Ego Italy, Gianmarco Serretti for Schwarzkopf Professional, Toni&Guy, Hipertin Italia with Andrea Peluzzi, Mirko Cheyenne and G.A. Moda Team, Fashion Mix Xenon, Mario Firriolo, Wahl Italia, Davide Cichello for Cloud Nine, Farrukh Shamuratov for Jean Paul Myné, Pixie C3, Festival Barber.
On Hair, now in its 10th edition, will present unique exhibitions, born from the combination of entertainment and training, to inspire hair professionals and to turn the spotlight on the talent, originality and innovation that drive the development of the sector.
ESTETICA MASTER CLASS
In the rich calendar of On Hair Show & Exhibition 2019, the MASTER CLASS event, curated in collaboration with the magazine ESTETICA, will bring four internationally renowned hairstylists to Turin, who are the protagonists of the most prestigious international catwalks.
On Sunday and Monday, X Presion, Dmitry Vinokurov, Tom Connell for Trevor Sorbie Art Team and Errol Douglas will bring to the stage their knowledge, technical skills and their expertise, the results of their participation in the most important competitions in the world. Thanks to their stunning performances, the Masters have become real influencers, a voice of reference not only for the professionals of the sector, but also for the fashion world.
At On Hair Show & Exhibition, spotlights on the barber world: the Festival Barber, organized in collaboration with Spaghetti's, will host the most talented and creative barbers, with a brand-new format, which will combine training and shows full of special effects.
The key names of the sector will attend: John Carmona, Josh Lamonaca, Hayden Cassidy, Jarreds Barber, Vishal Bahrani, Zena Yu - at only 14 years he is enchanting and leaving the whole world without words -, Josh O'meara-Patel and Julius Cvesar.
It is thanks to their talent that the barber world is keeping growing, and from a niche trend it is turning into a real commercial segment, which can offer important business opportunities.
The initiative will combine training and live sessions. Sunday, November 17th, the in-depth look & learn programs and workshops will focus on the most requested cutting techniques, the new trends for men's hair fashion, the best performing products and tools. Monday, November 18, the Festival Barber 2019 will come on the stage of On Hair Show & Exhibition, with stunning and engaging shows.
IHA – ITALIAN HAIRDRESSER AWARD 2019
Nominations are open for the IHA award - ITALIAN HAIRDRESSER AWARD 2019, a special initiative that celebrates the excellence, creativity and passion of the most influential hairdressers on the Italian scene and of young people under 28, who are presenting themselves for the first time to the public. To select the most interesting profiles, the Master Jury and the Press Jury will provide a technical evaluation, and the Artistic Jury with fashion, lifestyle and art experts will reward the most exciting and glamorous proposals. Moreover, Mauro Galzignato, Italian Hairdresser of the Year 2018, will be a special judge for the Best Young category.
In addition to the visibility on the social and communication channels of On Hair, the partnership with Estetica Magazine and the presence of trade media, companies, operators and experts from the world of music, fashion and art can open new scenarios and promote new collaborations for the winners.
