COSMOPROF WORLDWIDE BOLOGNA 2020 - 5 GARDENS TO DISCOVER THE FUTURE OF BEAUTY

The next edition of Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna will take us on a journey through the next ten years, showing us the trends, technological innovations and new rules that will shape the beauty market from now until 2030.

The exhibition, with its five events around the world, is where the sector’s companies, professionals and visionary entrepreneurs meet to put down firm roots and foster a new way of doing business, with increasingly high performances and designed to adapt to consumer needs.

To highlight and share the projections for the next ten years of beauty, Cosmoprof presents five special new areas, five gardens where you can see, touch and preview the beauty innovations of the next few years.
 

GARDEN OF INNOVATION


The Service Center, the heart of the event, will host a Garden presenting several initiatives to the market, all united by a single concept, innovation in the Beauty market! 

 

BEAUTYTECH AREA

This area will present Cosmoprof's new exhibition sector for BeautyTech companies, especially start-ups, which are revolutionizing the beauty industry. 

Companies like Alibaba and JD, together with over 30 innovative start-ups, will make the Garden of Innovation a place where you can scout the proposals set to change the beauty industry over the coming years. Find out more>
 

COSMOPROF AWARD

Cosmoprof Awards is a project created to reward excellence and the most innovative of the exhibiting companies at Cosmoprof Worldwide Bologna. The best products for formulations and packaging design and the most innovative finished products selected as finalists by a jury of over 60 world experts will be on display in the heart of the Garden of Innovation. COSMOTALKS 

Over the three days, Cosmoprof's format dedicated to beauty industry conferences will bring together the most iconic and central figures in the industry. For the 2020 edition, the calendar includes ten meetings on five main topics: future, trends, markets, digital and sustainability. BEAUTY VISION

The partnership with the trend agency Beautystreams will provide a preview of the megatrends set to influence the evolution of international markets over the next 10 years. There will be three installations where we can discover the future of beauty through the trends, looks and beauty routines of the near future, providing an original interpretation of the changes already visible in our society today:

The Big Picture: this will look at the main factors marking the last decade and present the Megatrends that will change the beauty industry over the next ten years.

A Day in Life 2030: we will look ahead to a typical day in 2030, imagining the beauty rituals guiding our daily lives. This proposal will draw on innovations that are already finding their way onto the market today. 

Faces of the Future: a glance at the look of the 2030s, with the color trends that will shape the world of beauty, fashion and publishing. Find out more>

GARDEN OF TRENDS

A brand-new area will host the fifth appointment with CosmoTrends, a project that uses the products launched by Cosmoprof’s exhibiting companies to reveal market trends. The event will provide operators, trend scouts, opinion leaders and R&D managers with the tools to evaluate the best strategies for developing their business, in line with the trends that will drive consumer behavior in the near future. The area will host a preview of the most exciting proposals at Cosmoprof 2020, providing useful ideas for how to plan your visit. After the event, a full report of the trends that emerged will be circulated, showing the elements that will have an impact on international markets. Find out more>

GARDEN OF COLORS AND MATERIALS

Between the halls 15 and 20 at Cosmopack there will be a preview of the colors and materials of the cosmetic products on the market and which will be used in 2030. Thanks to a multi-sector vision and the analysis of developments already underway in the cosmetics industry, for the second consecutive year, operators will have the chance to preview the nuances destined to shape the color industry and the materials that will have the greatest influence on packaging companies. GARDEN OF FRAGRANCES

With the help of - NEZ - The Olfactory Movement, the observatory of trends and transformations in perfumery - Cosmoprof presents a visionary reading of the world of high perfumery in 2030. This includes raw materials, inspirations and new market models. Discussing fashion fragrances and their future must include talking about the future of the planet. In 2030 production will have to drastically reduce its impact on the environment and comply with the new legislation shaping the industry. Nez, with the assistance of Symrise and Viewtoo, has come up with an olfactory journey, a narrative that will reveal to visitors the fragrances available in 2030 and how best to manage the sector. GARDEN OF DIVERSITY

A garden divided into three areas, curated in partnership with centdegrés, will create an exhibition path through the halls of the event. The three areas will host the evolution of CosmoFactory. This project created within Cosmopack, transforms it into a real experimental laboratory. You will have the chance to discover all the phases in the life of a beauty product: from production to sale, to its use by beauty professionals.
 
Step one: production.  Hall 19 will host a live reproduction of the production process of a beauty product live using the most innovative technologies provided by selected Cosmopack exhibitors. The star of the eighth edition of the Cosmoprof Factory is "Six4all" - an emulsion in six shades to be mixed with a skincare base suitable for all skin types with a packaging designed to improve the application technique. The entire project is designed to minimize the environmental impact of the production process and the finished product.
 
Step two: shopping experience. Inside Cosmoprime, in Hall 14, buyers, distributors and retailers can visit The Shop, a display put on by centdegrés as an example of a Six4all shopping experience in a retail outlet.
 
Step three: the test. Mixing six shades, you can create infinite nuances, suitable for all skin tones. To test Six4all and discover the product's full potential, there will be a testing area inside The Mall - in Hall 29, Professional Beauty and Spa - where you can discover and try out the perfect nuance for your complexion, with tips from professional make-up artists.

Six4all is the answer to the new needs of the market in the sector. A product, its purchase and its use must provide an authentic wellness experience. The formulas become versatile, performing, glamorous and respectful of the uniqueness of each consumer. Find out more>
